Awhile back I had the privilege of photographing a 90th birthday party. It was for a sweet friend of mines mother. There is just nothing like having a loving family…the matriarch here is a blessed woman!

This past week we celebrated Easter. But before Easter Sunday there was Good Friday. What a gift we have been given through the amazing work that Jesus did for us all on the cross so many years ago.
I was asked to photograph the service at our church (LIFEhouse). Here are a few of the shots that I was able to capture.
Easter is my absolute favorite holiday of the year! We celebrate our risen Lord and welcome the beauty of spring. I was asked to photograph some of the fellowship, praise and fun at our Easter Sunday service. After the service we hopped into the car to head to Grandmas house to be with family. My nieces are not yet too old to have a fun egg hunt…for which I am so happy to report!
The BAM Project celebrates its first birthday! Yesterday I attended (along with over 100 other women) the one year celebration of this amazing new women’s network at Morgan Creek Golf Club. The network was founded by a two lovely ladies, Stephanie Sherwood and Barbara Wilber. Stephanie was our outstanding MC for the afternoon and ever so gracious in her thanks to all who have supported this new project. There are now many chapters of BAM around California with plans to extend around the world. Hop over to BAM’s web site to learn more about this great networking experience for women! Adorable! That is Julie and Mark…in one word. What a great time I had with them at the Empire Mine taking engagement shots. Julie and Mark will be married this summer here in town, but they live down south by Magic Mountain. It is there that they met, at Julie’s son’s football practice, and from that point on there has been no turning back! Mark is such a sweet man and Julie a doll. They both love Jesus and it shows. I am so excited to photograph their wedding this July…they promise a party!
